  • Steel grades must be selected only from the chosen composite design code.

Materials

  • Composite beams can only be specified as made of steel.

Properties

  • Only STD I, STD GI, and catalogue I sections are supported for composite members.
  • Tapered sections are not supported.
  • Shear studs must be present.
  • Stud free zones (left or right) cannot be defined.
  • Automatic shear‑stud spacing is not available.
  • Reinforcement position cannot be defined for shear stud positioning.
  • Only solid and decking slab types are supported.
  • The slab is required to be of uniform thickness over its entire surface.

Design

  • Only Mesh Type A is permitted for 2D‑member mesh reinforcement.
  • Transverse reinforcement is not supported.

Members

  • Composite members must be formed using exactly two nodes.
  • Only rectangular and circular web openings are supported.
  • Member axes and slab edges must align.

Loading
